Voltes is a cooperative dedicated to the field of architecture and urban planning, focussing its practice as a tool for social transformation. It undertakes architectural rehabilitation, refurbishment and new build projects with a focus on sustainability. It has experience in projects to restore historical and traditional heritage, and accompany groups of people who wish to create models of conscious housing and new ways of interacting, with a commitment to cooperative and community housing. At the same time, it develops a form of architecture that is conscious of the social and built habitat, an inclusive urban planning open to processes of participation and collective transformation, innovative sustainable installations with natural materials, and provides critical training on the environment we inhabit.
